Henry Butenschoen, Senior Project Analyst

Henry received a BA in Diplomacy and World Affairs on a Pre-Health Track from Occidental College in 2020, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Applied Science in Global Health Planning and Management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is passionate about public health and believes that it is a fundamental human right to have the opportunity to attain the highest level of health and well-being. Henry has volunteered as a medical scribe at Clackamas Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM), in Oregon City, Oregon. In 2019, he worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) HIV, Health and Development Group. In his role, Henry researched the connection between national policies that discriminate against key populations and incidence rates of HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. Furthermore, he worked on an issue brief for how micro-health insurance can be implemented in LMIC to ensure universal health coverage. Henry will serve as a youth health educator for Endside Out and help write grants. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running, and playing the trumpet and guitar. He is also passionate about exploring and learning about cultures around the world.

Han Gao, Community Health Program Analyst

Han received a bachelor’s degree from University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China, and further pursued a master’s degree of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit and Public Management at Cornell University. Han worked at several nonprofit and government agencies in the past within areas of public health, minority rights and economic development. Specifically, Han interned for the US Department of Agriculture to focus on improving rural development in the U.S. As an Endside Out Program Analyst, Han will focus on business development and grant writing. Han will search for fundraising and program opportunities, and conduct research in healthcare and economic development areas. Han will also help with reviewing progress processes and status. Outside of work, Han is interested in snowboarding and cooking.

Amanda Gao, Project Coordinator

Amanda is currently a sophomore at Georgetown University majoring in Healthcare Management and Policy on a Pre-Med track. She previously worked in an international student health organization focused on leadership development and education. Additionally, she has tutored elementary, middle, and high school students. Amanda is responsible for helping build and maintain Endside Out’s website for the Know Your Health program. She plans and creates content social media content to boost engagement from the communities EO serves. As a youth health educator, Amanda also leads workshops for Baltimore students. She is passionate about empowering youth and learning about challenges in achieving health equity. In her free time, she enjoys reading and dancing.

Onyi is currently an undergraduate Student at Towson University studying in a Bachelors of Science, seeking to be a part of future chiropractic or physical rehabilitation medical work. As a Youth Health Coordinator he, leads workshops for elementary and middle school students in Baltimore City, as well as follow-up sessions.

Tonge Enoh, Youth Health Educator

Tonge Enoh is currently a junior at Towson University, majoring in Health Education and Promotion and minoring in Biology. Tonge has previously worked in retail, mentoring for different campus and community organizations, recruitment for her university, and as an academic tutor. At EndsideOut, Tonge’s role is to build relationships with people in the Baltimore community, lead workshops on the benefits of nutritious eating and exercise, and support individuals in leading healthy lifestyles. Outside of work, Tonge enjoys community service, reading, and watching her favorite television programs.

Dara graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health with minors in Psychology and Civic Engagement. To continue her education and commitment to public health, she will be pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) Degree at Yale University. Prior to working with EndsideOut, Dara worked and volunteered with various non-profit agencies and advocacy groups, as well as at her local health department in an effort to improve health conditions and services for families and members of her community. Dara currently serves as a Youth Health Educator, and is also assist with the curriculum development for the Know Your Health workshops for elementary school students. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching new TV and old shows and movies, reading books, and attending plays and musicals.

Cassandra Allen, Youth Health Educator

Cassandra earned her BS in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2018. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health at George Washington University with a focus on Health Promotion. A majority of Cassandra’s professional experience comes from working with multicultural student centers at the university level. She has completed research in multiple areas of health and has professionally assisted many organizations related to leadership, culture and personal development. Cassandra’s main passions are music and watching TV and movies in her downtime. She is a huge fan of all things Beyonce, travel and food especially trying foods from different cultures.

Arnina Zeng, Youth Health Educator – Internship

Arnina Zeng

Arnina is graduating this December from the University of Miami with a Bachelor in Science. She studied health science with the goal to pursue a career and higher education in public health, specifically nutrition and health disparities. Her interest in nutrition started when she worked with a nutritionist and learned more about how food affects every part of health and well-being. Arnina will assist in writing Know Your Health modules to teach elementary school aged children about various public health topics. She enjoys cooking, reading, and playing the violin.

Bridget Fitzgerald, Youth Health Educator – Internship

Bridget graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute with Bachelor’s degrees in International Public Policy and Spanish. She hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in Public Health, particularly concerning global health in the near future. Bridget is currently working as a clinical technician at a local hospital in the Washington DC-metro area. She has been a volunteer EMT for the past 4 years and can be found volunteering with her local fire department. Bridget will be working as a Community Health Facilitator in Peru through the Peace Corps in 2021. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in global public health. As a Health and Wellness Intern, Bridget’s role is to help craft curriculum for the Know Your Health workshops for elementary and middle schools in the local Baltimore area. She assists in the Spanish curriculum that can be found in the workshops. Outside of work Bridget thoroughly enjoys performing theater, and improvisational comedy. When she is not onstage, she enjoys reading, hiking and interacting with her community.
